In Brief...

Check with the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and the U.S. Department of Education to make sure your school is accredited. Some include Western Governors University, University of Wisconsin-Platteville and Penn State University. This scholarship can be used for any accredited online degree program in the U.S. (See Reference 1. Apply for the $2,000 Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) Distance Learning/Online Scholarship. ), and "Majors directly related to the support of U.S. intelligence enterprises or national security with relevance to the mission of AFCEA will also be eligible," according to the AFCEA website.
